Finally I finished the design and setup of my old site, p-ds.no this site will be used for misc projects and my business. Not sure what to fill the pages with tho.. At least it will contain information about the projects I’m part of and some of the components and modules I’ve been working on and still are working with for Joomla sites. At the current time this is JoomTrac, AdsManager, JDirectory and PaidSystem. Right now I’m also trying to get a working copy of CB_JDirectory to work, this is a plugin for Community Builder so that you can show content in JDirectory that belongs to the user in question in a list in the profile view. Right now this one is only working for the first initial directory that is made when installing JDirectory, but I’m working on getting this to be directory aware so that if the user has content in more than one directory you will be able to see them in the list as well, either sorted by directory in the same list or in different views or tabs. A bit depending on the Community Builder tab system. At least it’s a work in progress.
I’ve been experimenting with Google Apps for a month now on brumoen.net, and I’ve also helped Thomas over at JoomProd.com setting up Google Apps for joomprod.com, bebecalin.net and mariage33.com with great success. So now both of us are using Google Apps to handle our mail services. A lot easier and resource saving for our servers. The great thing about Google Apps is that you are allowed to setup 100 user accounts with the free plan, they have a pay plan and a plan for non-profit organizations and schools as well. (more…)
